I'm looking to buy a used Toyota Camry. The years that I've found that I can afford are a 2010 Base (IDK what a Base is), an '05 LE so far. Both just over 100,000 miles. I'm not sure which one is more reliable. Help
Avoid the 2007-2014 years, 2005 is a better year but its older so pay less and make sure to have a mechanic check it out. "Base" is the trim level which means it is pretty bare bones with less tech and features.
Kerem has a useful link on this subject, feel free to attach it - https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/postid/52242/
Thank you all
Both are reliable if they are taken care of.
Do you know what the difference is with the Base?
The base is basically the smaller engine without leather seats.
Not an expert but the 2003's (not sure which years have the same 4 cylinder engine) but the 2003 4 cylinder has a great engine and transmission. Yes it's older but my daughter owns one and we own one. AC still works too. When I took them to Scotty to look over he said that engine and transmission in those are great (I have no idea the size of the engine other than it's the 4 cyclinder, the v6's had more issues in those years)
