Scotty...What would you recommend for a retired couple - probably our last car. We have only driven Toyota all our lives...bought new ...kept them 18-20 years on average. So...should we wait for the new Corolla Cross to arrive or buy a good used car...and if so...what car. There are only 2 of us most of the time...plus our 90+ year old mom occasionally. We drive around 5-7000 miles per year.

I would say that the Toyota Highlander would be a great used car for a retired couple. It is easy to get in and out of, has great visibility, and is very reliable. You could also get a Rav4 before 2019 for the same reasons. If you want the Corolla Cross you could wait but they have had a few issues with the CVT that is in it.
