Hi! Does anybody have a suggestion or opinion about which year(s) are best for used automatic CRV. Thanks!
Personally, I prefer the generations after they removed the spare tire from the tailgate. I believe that is anything from the last 3 generations.
Reliability wise, lets start from the newer ones. The 2017-2018 are very reliable with the 2.4 Naturally Aspirated engine, but have oil dellusion issues with the 1.5 Turbo.
The 2015-2016 had transmission issues as it was the first model years where the CVT was introduced (more so with the 2015).
2012-2014 is pretty dependanble.
2005-2006 is also nearly perfect except for some recalls.
