Blowing/blown head gasket

Hey scotty love your show I have a general question when a head gasket is blowing and/or blown will is show on oil dipstick as overfilled

Not necessarily.  If the head gasket is blown, coolant will usually leak into the combustion chamber and will produce dense, white exhaust smoke.  You can confirm this with either a test kit or a compression test.


Thanks man for usually answering my questions I was also wondering when should I have my 2012 fusion brake fluid changed and bled and or flushedi can't find it in the manual


I keep an eye on the color of the fluid in the reservoir. When it get pretty dark, I bleed the system out & refill.


Thanks mines getting dark I can still see threw it but it's dark is there anything else that can come up as a problem and beed replacing when bleeding brake and whats usual price of bleeding them


I don't know or trust anyone to work on my vehicles. I do all the work myself. Sorry.
