Scotty my grandmas 2002 dodge grand caravan has a blown head gasket and I think a cracked head I found a motor in the junkyard with 60 thousand miles that runs van was hit in the rear end my grandma dont wanna get rid of the van would it be a good idea to put that motor in her van.

If I'm honest it would be better to get a newer van. sure a newer van is more expensive. but so is getting someone to put in a new Engine. unless you can put in the engine, or get someone who knows what they're doing and can give you a deal. I'd say no.
You could put that engine in your van but do a very good visual inspection of the engine and make sure you get wanrnty on the engine if possible so if doesn't run or work then at least got peice of mind and know can get your money back.
