Hi scotty,hope u r fine,i have 2014 model honda city manual car and i have been observing blue smoke from exhaust when i start the car but smoke disappears after 10 to 15 min of drive,i was told by honda mechanics to change the valve seals,i have driven the car 140000km,should i change the valve seals or get Engine head instead?regards from pakistan {black}:lovekiss:

It means that it is burning oil.

You have an oil burning issue. Do you have a diesel or petrol engine?


petrol engine and i know it,s an oil burning issue ,but i am asking for solution.

Blue smoke on startup and the goes away, it's the valve stem oil seals likely are shot.
