Purchased a new R1250RS from BMW Sunderland. U.K. June 2021.In November I informed the dealer of poor paint quality."They all do that" was their reply! Paint it yourself was their reply. Not satisfied with this I notified BMW Motorrad UK. Still waiting for a reply.Also compained to BMW Germany, still waiting for a reply.
I will learn from this and NEVER buy another BMW ,car or motorcycle!
You probably should sit down and read your warranty (with your attorney) to find out what your rights are.
This is just the tip of iceberg. If I were you , I would sell it and get a Japanese made one. There are so many options.
Do you have warranty on your paint? As @doc said, You should really check what your rights are.
If they don’t want to give you what they owe you - you might want an attorney that’ll put them in their place.
The rule of thumb in these cases is to make it easier for them to give you what you want than not.
