i found a 2014 bmw 328d with 120k miles with an 8 speed at i like diesel cars and its for 7k how reliable are they

The drivetrain may be reliable but you are still looking at a 7 year old BMW. Other parts of the car (electrical, plastic, rubber) will be starting to wear and need replacement.
I would pass but I am totally against buying old, used BMW's.
