Hello Scotty,
I know BMW cars are “endless money pits” but what about their motorcycles? I really like there adventure bikes such as the R1200GS. Are they reliable or should I look at a different brand?

They are reliable but expensive to buy. The maintenance cost is so high too. Consider Japanese ones (Kawasakai C14, Yamaha, Honda), if you like them.

Those thing with Boxer Engine can RUN FOREVER, as long as you maintain it correctly from the Get-go
While the almost exact variant with 1000cc Inline-4 Engine (S1000XR) is OK, but tend to breakdown more often if you rode them hard like you riding S1000RR Superbike
