Scotty I bought a 2005 BMW X-5 used before I found you. Yes it's the biggest mistake ever and yes they are money pits. The question is my transmission keeps going into safe mode. After you turn it off and restart it goes back into normal mode any ideas as to why and what besides selling it I should do. I'm very honest and can't sell it the way it is.

Well somebody told you that BMW they weren't very honest.I enjoy you have some type of computer system failure because turning it off turn on makes it work for a while try to find a BMW mechanic who won't rape you which is an almost impossible task to see if you can figure out what's going wrong without charging you thousands of dollars and never buy another one of those piles of junk
