2002 VW Jetta TDI, pedal faded to near floor, replaced master cylinder (no fix), performed numerous youtube booster checks all passed, now I'm thinking ABS unit. Vehicle appears to have no boost even though it passed all booster troubleshooting. Please help. Mac55

Well seriously more often that's a bad booster but they are very hard to test on Volkswagens and that ABS modular unit cost a fortune. Here's a decent way to test the booster, don't turn the car on and step on the brakes if the brakes are hard but then you start the car and they sink then the booster shot
