Brake noise and other services

My parents have a 2014 Honda CRV with 50K kilometers. When I changed the starter motor ar the Honda dealership, they also inspected my vehicle and gave me a report.

They told me the brake fluid and transmission fluid is discolored and perform front and rear brake and caliper service (clean and lubricate).

And when I step on the brake, I hear the squeaking noise from the rear. What would be the quick fix?

And do I really need to change the brake fluid and transmission fluid?

I would change the transmission fluid you can easily do it yourself I wouldn't waste money on the brakes and check the brake pads if they are not worn out squeaks me nothing but if you don't like squeaks change the pads with a  akebono pads and noise will go away

Would using a brake cleaner fix the problem?

Hello,

The brake fluid should be changed in accordance with your vehicle manufacturer,

The fluid becomes discolored and contaminated over time and because of its composition it is hygroscopic, This means it absorbs moisture from the air,

If you hearing noise under breaking it could be brake dust or the rear brakes are low and need to be replaced.

All the Best.
