Hello Scotty. I have a 08 Silverado 1500 2wd. Disc up front and drums in the rear. I need pads up front. They asked me at the store if my brakes are either vacuum or Hydro boost. And I don’t know so that’s why I’m asking you what kind do I need to get

Hydraboost uses hydraulic pressure from the power steering system to assist with braking pressure.
If you have this, you will have lines going from your power steering pump to the brake master cylinder.
