Scotty, I have an 02 Chevy avalanche 1500. Great truck it's a very special truck to me. It is my dad's. It has been sitting for a year or 2 and I'm fixing it up. Brakes arent working at all. I FULLY unciezed the brake calibers and pads. Brake pads are fine but the pedal keeps on getting hard but not exactly rock solid 2 front calibers cylinders are broken meaning I need 2 new front one's. And the passenger back calibers air valve snapped off when I tried to let air out. U think it could be a lot of air in the brakes or could it be the brake master cylinder or something along that line? Please help as I am on a tight budget and I'm trying to figure out my next steps. Thank you

You will need to replace the damaged calipers, and bleed the brake system. Since things are in such a bad state, I would consider replacing the flexible rubber lines as well, and inspect all the brake lines for corrosion. Hopefully the master cylinder seals are still ok. Plug the brake line ends and don't let the system go dry (keep reservoir full) or you'll have more headaches with the ABS system.
