I have a 2001 Nissan Altima 2.4l 5 speed manual with no codes and 125,000 miles. My front brakes almost lock up at times to where I have to rev up my motor to get it to move, after a mile or 2 it seems fine and drives ok. This seems to switch from left to right sides. I have replaced Calipers rotors and pads on both sides, what am I missing. (Also has a light shimmy in the front end sometimes)

How did you determine that the resistance is from the brakes?
you can fell it and a little brake smell..

could be many things
- collapsed brake lines
- problem with the master cylinder
- incorrectly installed pads

Brake system was not properly bled of air.
