Hi Scotty my name is Austyn I bought this 09 Dodge journey from a used car dealer they told me there was nothing wrong with it I took it for a test drive it was fine on my way home the pedal was squeaking and drive around my town I can literally put my pedal to the floorboards I’ll bring it to my mechanic and they said it’s gonna be a $1400 fix with parts and labor any recommendations

Take it back to the used car dealer & ask for a full refund (if you still can).
