Hey Scotty, I was thinking of buying a 2014 Scion TC with 60,000 original miles for $6,500. Do you think that’s a good deal?

That is actually a really good deal!

That's an excellent deal! But it wouldn't hurt to try to bargain down a bit more maybe to high 5 thousands.

That's a good deal. My brother sold one of those for 7800 about a month ago.

Thats a great deal! I'd take it for a test drive and remember to have a pre-purchase inspection done by a mechanic to make sure there aren't any problems resulting in the low price.

Scotty talks about a 2011 Scion TC

The earlier models (late 2000s) had excessive oil consumption issues with their 2.4 engines. The 2014 model year is relatively trouble free and didn't have the engine defect the earlier ones had. You probably already know that Scion is the inexpensive *sporty* division of Toyota, so they are pretty well made.

Also, you didn't explicitly say but all of this applies if its a clean title. Avoid cars with salvage/rebuilt titles.
