I was wondering if this is a good purchase, I want to buy a Honda Civic hatchback sport touring 2021, and I want to know if the car is reliable. The 2021 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport Touring only comes with one engine choice the 1.5L turbocharged I4. I would avoid that engine due to susceptibility to oil dilution. Yes, there are things one can do to mitigate it and supposedly Honda has resolved the issue, but the fact is the jury is out on the longevity of that engine. If you can, stay away from it until we have more long-term data. Now, a 6-speed manual transmission was standard with a CVT optional - I’d stick with the manual for longevity (if you went through with the purchase).
