Hi Scotty I have a 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD with a 6 speed automatic transmission. The car has 65,000 miles on it and all maintenance is performed at the Acura dealership at their correct intervals. A few months ago I started to drive down the road while the car was cold and in between gear 3 and 4 it revved up, in between the shift it seemed like it went into neutral for a second and then it went into 4th. I just had the transmission fluid changed a few thousand miles ago by the dealership. It only did this when the outside temperature was below 50 degrees fahrenheit and it only does this once per drive then it is fine. I have also noticed a shudder when I put the car into gear as well, does this mean my transmission is already on its way out? Thanks.
Sad but true it probably is on its way out if it's doing weird shifting like that I have them test it and pray it's a bad solenoid
