Hey Scotty (and others on forum:) ), I've been going through some trouble finding an attractive and a reasonably priced car, but I just found out that I can get a 2013 XJ with a 3.0 V6 engine and under 50K miles on it for $14K. It also comes with a supercharger, of which I'm not fond of, as I understand they can make the engine not last as long. So what is your opinion of this specific model? Will the engine blow up or will anything else happen that will turn this into an endless money pit?
For context: I live in Europe and the local Jaguar dealer is surprisingly honest with the repairs (I've had another car diagnosed there).
Here in the United States, Jaguars are the worst vehicles because they are endless money pits after 20k miles.
You said you live in Europe so it shouldn't be that bad.
I honestly wouldn't recommend it because that Jaguar does have problems as they age. I would look at something else.
Thank you for your reply!
