I'm very interested in getting a used 1988 toyota supra but it's across the country and I don't have mechanic to check it out to see if it's a good buy or not. What should I look out for?
What is the question?
Sorry my question is what should look out for? Since I wouldn't have a mechanic there with me.
that's a bit too much to teach in a forum post. Instead here's some websites.

Thank you big help
Out of state purchases are tricky. I personally do not recommend ever purchasing a car you can't touch, but if you are going to do so keep this in mind: in order for you to title the car in your name, in your state, it MUST pass any state inspection where you live. If you have no inspections it is a lot easier.
As for what you should look for, I really couldn't say because with it being out of state you can't check anything and all private party sales are as is, where is by default with no warranty expressed or implied. So it is up to you if it is worth the risk.
