Hey Scotty,
I'm looking to buy a used Toyota Rav4, Highlander, or Honda CR-V. I was wondering if I should consider purchasing a vehicle that has had "minor" damage reported. I love your videos and am so grateful I found them to make sure I check the right things when going into any car situations. Thanks again for all you do!

Thanks guys! thats what I was thinking too.
I have seen a car that said moderate.. turned out it had an engine fire, and the wiring harness, and a few other parts were replaced and it was resold
So be careful
do you know what the minor damage is?
Hey Mountainmanjoe unfortunately it doesn't say on any of them what happened. Just "mild to moderate" damage. 🙄
moderate could mean that it wasnt drive-able
That's really vague. I don't know if that means a scuff on the bumper, or driving through a sidewalk or ditch. You should have mechanic inspect it.
You should have your mechanic to check the car to fully inspect the car. If the mechanic gives ok, then go ahead. You can use the accident as a leverage to lower the asking price.
Have a mechanic check it out
