Hey Scotty I’m looking to buy a 09 is250 with about 44k miles, it’s a baby, the only thing that i can actually see is missing front sensors, any red flags here? This car is listed from a dealership and one of the salesman stated and i quote “ The sensors can be installed if You decide to purchase the vehicle”. Think this is a good buy, or could there be a catch? Looking forward in hearing from you soon! Also I’m in The state of Rhode Island, would love to meet ya
Run away, for two reasons -
1. It's from a dealer.
2. The sensors are missing probably because it's been in an accident.
Why would sensors be missing? That makes me leary and also it is a dealership. I would try and find something else .
Run away as fast as you can. That is a great deal but for the dealer not you.
How do you know?
If we assume the sensors are parking sensors, they don't fall off on their own, so the car was in a front end collision. Buying a wrecked car from a dealer is not a good idea.
missing front sensors
What sensors? Collision sensors? parking/proximity sensors? temperature sensors?
When you say "missing" do you mean sensors were there in the past, and now there's empty holes? Or do you mean the car never had this feature?
Think this is a good buy,
No idea. You didn't say anything about price.
