I'm currently looking at buying an 09 Mazda6 Touring with 188k miles on it for about 4 grand that I plan on using for about a year. I have another 09 Mazda6 that the engine works fine on, just undrivable due to body damage, and I was thinking of using for backup parts in case this one has issues. Should I buy the Mazda or should I just look for another vehicle?

I would look for another vehicle. That's too many miles for me on an 09. They weren't the best quality back then.
