Hey so I wanted to know some things about corvettes but the newer ones. I love the looks of these but I wanted to know how reliable these are because they are Chevy at the end of the day. Just tell me things about them and engine things too.
Reliable is not a word I would ever use to describe a Corvette. That's not to say I hate them...except for the C8. I have owned a lot of them and they are extremely fun to drive when they are working. But they are very finicky with a lot of electronics. Not to mention the C7 and C8 are both the tightest cabins Corvette has ever had.
Understand that all parts for Corvettes, whether regular or performance, cost a lot more than the standard Chevrolet. If I were to recommend a Corvette, it would be as a weekend toy only and definitely not as a daily driver. They sit really low, so if you have bad roads or a steep driveway it can cause issues.
The best thing I can offer is to research the known issues with the exact model you are looking at. Different trims had different issues, so research is key.
