2020 Corvette

I’m a young guy who has been socking money away for the past 5 years with the hope of buying a new Corvette.   i was recently able to bring my dream to completion by making this purchase.   After getting the car home and giving it a careful going over, I noticed that the gaps between the mirrors and the windows were different.   The gap is 2” greater on the right side compared to the left.   After going around the car, I noticed that the gaps on all the panels of the vehicle were uneven.  Kind of surprising given what I just spent.  The gaps between the tires and body panels were all different as well.      I also noticed that the workmanship on the leather inside the car was shoddy.  The stitching was crooked and uneven - a very sloppy job.    When I went back to the dealership they told me this is a production vehicle - not hand built and I should not expect things to be perfect.  They do the best they can.  Do I just need to accept this?  What are my options at this point?

Yes, you need to accept this. It is an American-made vehicle, so panel gaps and uneven stitching are expected.

GM sells those cars ridiculously overpriced and claims they lose money with each sale. I don't believe that at all.

But anyway, yes, there will be imperfections on any production car, particularly the American brands.

You can sell the car if you can't live with it, but it is going to hurt financially. Otherwise, you just have to live with it.
