Carbeurated Question

Hey Scotty, my old blue f150 is having starting problems (big surprise i know). I changed the ignition module after it died once and then drove it home only to have it die the next night.. well it's an off and on game of run for a few miles then quit, then sit and then run again. So I changed the ignition coil and the spark plugs, which helped for a minute, but then died. It seems like after it sits for an hour, something dries off enough or cools off enough to run again.. what do you think?

Leaky carbeurator, bad fuel pump, or a faulty distributor

Thanks, Noel

Oh man that old it could be a zillion different things hey if you're in the Clarksville Tennessee area bring it over and I'll check it out for free.

I am about 3 hours north and cannot pay the tow.. let me get it running and I may swing by for a professional's insight.. nivester98@gmail.com is my email

Fuel pump and filter?  Carb rebuild? Old carburetors don't like the ethanol in the gas.  Sounds like the float needle is sticking and cutting off fuel flow in the carb.  Check the float too.
