I was wondering if, when having an alignment done, I should have camber kits installed on the front suspension. There is no provision for camber adjustment on the 2019 Mirage. The front camber is currently at -0.7 degrees on the right side, and -0.3 degrees on the left. The car is bone stock, and has never had the suspension modified. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
You need to talk to the alignment shop to see what the varianace is +/- on the camber recommended by the manufacturer. is it within 4 degrees ? If thy say one side should be adjusted then install the camber kit. probably maybe install a strut brace as well.
It is only the side which is a -0.7 deg. that is at the minimum specified camber for the front of this car. The allowable range according to the manufacturers specifications are a minimum of-0.7 deg. and a maximum of 0.8 deg. What I was concerned about is that the one side is at the minimum specified range. The camber on the front and back of this car are not adjustable.
