Camshaft Pos Sensor

I have a 2007 F150 4.6l V8 XLT super crew 4X4 with 220,000 miles, I keep getting a P0430 code, I have had the sensor replaced x 2 about 3 or 4 months apart. (OEM) now the code is back. So far the shop can not find the cause. Any thoughts?

that's because the code means your catalytic converter isn't doing its job

Check our FAQ, and follow the troubleshooting here:

The times I had the P0420/P0430 code, the culprit was a bad catalytic converter.

The problem could be upstream, like a misfire in the engine.

Or running to rich/lean

Or a an exhaust leak.

Or it could be bad sensors, which it seems you have ruled out.

If you can rule out the others, it is most likely the cat.

Like @kaizen said, you have to diagnose what is happening upstream of the CAT to find out what is causing the failure.  Just replacing the CAT will not usually solve the problem.  I would recommend finding a better shop.
