Hey scotty i inherited a 2001 pontiac grand am 2.4 4 cylinder twin cam 133,000 miles a while back and was replacing the oil sensor when i think i over tightened it and it broke a piece of my engine block off. I actually already did jb weld it on (using rubbing alcohol or break cleaner to clean it) but it still leaks oil after i take it for a spin. Should i scrap/sell and probably get nothing or keep trying?

Given that the JB Weld is cheap, and presuming you've got a few hours, I'd give it a try - maybe 2 before writing off a car. There seem to be a LOT of Youtube videos on doing this - maybe you can get some good tips from them.

You might also want to see this one comparing the epoxy brands. The guy isn't as entertaining as Scotty, but he is thorough
