So I watched a few videos on Youtube that showed some English guys using veg oil from restaurants to power an old Skoda diesel. It was genuinely fascinating to watch, but considering that the Skoda used had an older diesel engine, I wasn't sure if it was okay to use veg oil in newer diesels.
Any thoughts? How would using veg oil affect newer diesel cars?
I think it would work great.
Bio-diesel supposed to burn cleaner than the commercial stuff.
I'm just a bit worried about engine health since it's not going to be running the most optimal fuel.
Diesel engines are known for not being picky about fuel. But you'll need a bit of sense of adventure and resourcefulness. If you get worried about details then maybe it's not the right decision for you.
Ok thanks. I thought I would be worried about something breaking rather than the fuel filter getting dirty or some other minor thing.
