Have a check engine light and code is P0101
I had my brother change out the mass air flow sensor and also had a professional repair shop troubleshoot. They also changed out the same sensor.
After clearing the code/light it comes back on after a short period of time.
We are hesitant on taking it to a dealer do to the high cost just for them to look at it.
Any ideas?

Are you using the OEM Nissan MAF sensor?
Have you already tried troubleshooting through the rest of the causes, of that particular code? -
I recommend looking up upstream or downstream the sensor. Like an air/vacuum leak of some sort.
Also exam the sensor connections and wiring. See if anything is frayed or damaged.
Heck, look way upstream to the airbox, and see if the filters are clean and the airbox are clean.
