A new key was copied from a local locksmith who said they could program a keyfob for my 08 Honda Fit. They tried several fobs that work on Hondas, but they could not program mine. The key starts the car but the lock & unlock buttons do not work.
I tried cycling the key to on, pressing lock, and repeated 4x as indicated in multiple online instructions but it will not work. What can be done? Master Scotty to the rescue please!
