I've been using WalMart batteries for years with no problems. There are only a few manufacturers of batteries that produce all the brands that you see.

Check and get the best and longest warranty you can afford.

Batteries are like engine oil. Only a couple of companies make them and everybody puts their own label on them.

The parts guy at my local Toyota place said the Toyota TrueStart batteries were made by Interstate, FWTW.

I avoid Walmart under all situations, but that being said there is nothing wrong with the batteries.

As someone else mentioned, it's like motor oil...doesn't really matter where it comes from.

An important thing in a battery is the production date, which I found the batteries sold in Walmart are perfectly fine. The other thing is the price, I usually find it cheaper in Walmart as well.

I used walmart batteries in my both of my parents cars no issues yet last for 4 to 5 years and surprisingly my dad's toyota cmry 2001 car battery lasted 7 years from Walmart which is kinda neat.
