  • Hyundai Tucson 1.6 hybrid diesel awd 2020 model
  • Car bucking after I release the gas pedal while slowing down
  • Recently have cleaned maf and throttle body. Also I have changed the air filter.
  • I’m waiting to replace my fuel pump because of whining noise
  • Fuel filter changed last September
  • No engine light yet
  • Last year I have changed an intake air temperature sensor on turbo( that’s what they told me from the dealer) because the car, when I was accelerating after 60-70km/h car was continuously bucking.

My question is if the ecu keeps data, can I take the negative  and positive poll in order to come up to the factory settings.Or I have to go to the dealer to reprogram it because of this reset. I want to try it because after the replace of the sensor my car start bucking when slowing down but not all the time. And that’s the reason when I go to the dealer to test it, it doesn’t make it at all. So annoying!!

ps’ car is not keyless.

  1. disconnect negative battery terminal
  2. hold down brake pedal for 10 seconds

And that’s it?
That’s an another way of reset?

That's the best that you can do alone.
.
If you wanted to reset EVERYTHING , then you'd have to perform a relearn for each module with a dealer diagnostic tool. That's best left to somebody who knows what they are doing.
