Hi Scotty,
My mom's 2004 pontiac vibe awd with 185k miles seems to be driving straight but the body is turned to the side. I believe its referred to as crab walking. I dont believe the car has leaf springs, and I am not sure if there are any mounts that may be worn. What do you think could be the problem or are things I could check? I dont want to take it in for an alignment if thats not going to solve the problem.

It just means the Vibe’s intended destination & your mum’s intended destination do not match..
Has the vehicle even been wrecked? Is it a salvage/rebuilt title?

Has it always been like that? That can happen after a bad accident if the car's structure was not straightened properly.
