Hi Scotty, I have a 92 VW Cabriolet, I can only start it when I replace the fuel pump relay by a common relay (eg. a horn relay). I have put a new fuel pump relay in but it didn’t work. Would you please tell me what possible problem do I encounter in this situation. Thank you so much for your help.

Apparently, the new fuel pump relay was bad. Is it OEM or after market? Either get a new, OEM relay or keep using the horn relay. You don't really need a horn anyway.
LOL try telling that to some Asian countries..
