I have a 2005 Honda civic vp coupe.it is 5 speed manual with roughly 225k on it.my problem is my car shakes when it gets up to 60mph and beyond.the shaking does however calm down the faster I go also when I am on the highway  go around a bend at 60+ the shaking stops until the road straightens out again.i did a shake down test and everything checks out.i have changed on both sides the lower control arms, lower ball joints, I have had the tires balanced twice and I changed the struts..the tie rods feel completely solid, but I did just order inner and outer when they come in I will be changing them as well..is it possible it could be the rack considering it has high mileage?thanks in advance...please help me out it is killing me.....

Figured it out...the inner part of the axles were failing...once I put new axles in the shaking went completely away.so happy that's fixed...

Great, thanks for letting us know!

Check for worn wheel bearings and bent rims. Did you also check for loose parts in the rear suspension?

The rims are aftermarket not that old.i definitely don't curb hunt or pothole seek.also doesn't matter what rims is on the front it shakes still.I thought maybe it was the tires so I even put a new set of tires on.the rear is tight.it is coming definitely from the front.i did check the wheel bearings but they seem fine also there is no noise.im hoping whatever it is breaks, but that's not my luck....lol
