I have a 2000 mercury grand marques. It has 245000 miles. It idles great but after it warms up going down the road the motor shuts off. The engine light flashes. It will start up after a couple of minutes. It will idel all day but when you take off again it shuts off. I took it to the dealership and they thought it was my pcm. They put a used one in but that didn't help. They did say when the car shuts off the pcm quits responding. What could it be . its not a fuel problem. Fuel pressure is good when it shuts off.

Well if they're right and the PCM doesn't get power the check the ignition switch in the wiring and the grounds to the PCM
