2014 silverado 1500 5.3L engine RUNS ROUGH on 4 cylinder active fuel management mode. What causes it?

if I were you I'd install one of those kits that turns the active fuel management off because those are crappy systems that cost a fortune to analyze and repair plus when they only work on four-cylinder mode the other four cylinders don't lubricate right and it turns out that wears the engine out faster
