Hi, Scotty. I'm Darren, I'm based in the UK and have been watching your video tutorials for a long time. I have a 2014 Vauxhall Corsa Design. The car has been sorned for over two years but before that it kept cutting out, I took it to a mechanic and he fitted a new coil pack, but from what I can remember he didn't know why it was cutting out. While it's been on my driveway the battery was going flat so had to continuously charge it, this continued throughout the two years. In recent days I took the car to a different mechanic, explained the problem, he installed a new battery. I was under the impression that he would run a diagnostic on it. During a phone conversation he said the fuel was running low, I hadn't explained that the car was sorned but did so during this conversation, because he said he would take it to a service station to put fuel in, but he couldn't after I explained it being sorned because it wouldn't have been legal to drive it on the roads. When I went to collect the car he said it is running, and if there is any problems to let him know. Another mechanic drove it out from the back of the garage, it was running. What I thought was odd is the bonnet/hood wasn't entirely closed, so I lifted it slightly in order to let it drop and close fully, drove the car to the back of a flatbed truck I was using through a towing company, to bring the car back to my home. Upon arriving at my home it would not start again. Scotty, pardon my language, but I'm beginning to believe I have had the piss taken out of me. I assumed the car would have been correctly fixed this time around, hell, even the company has great reviews. Upon arriving home the fuel gauge was really low so I assumed this may be the reason why it won't start, so walked to a service station with a jerry can to collect petrol, this isn't the reason why it won't start because there is now plenty of fuel in the car. When I turn the key it sounds like the fuel pump is engaging so I don't know why it won't start, please, can you help, can you give any information on what the problem could be. I know you're probably busy, I just hope you see this message.
