Carb removed, Water in manifold

Hi.

1995 Landcruiser Euro model w/ carburetor. Car idled fine when cold but shut down once butterfly opened. I removed carb and saw considerable water in the manifold. How screwed am I ?

Thanks Joe. I have no experience with carburetors, but there was a lot of water, maybe 16 ounces .... starting coming out as soon as I removed the carb. any chance it could be engine coolant ?

Maybe. Coolant usually has a dye in it.

But I don't have a lot of experience with carburetted engines or cruisers.
