I have a 1987 ford ranger 2.3L i4 automatic transmission. I’m trying to figure out how to convert it to a carburetor because I can’t figure out the fuel injection. I need to know all the parts I would need and what I may need to disconnect.
Well you're kind of getting into a rat's nest there. The computer is set up for fuel injection. The fuel pump pressure is way too high. You'd have to change that you'd have to change the intake manifold. You'd probably be better off buying another vehicle
The issue with it is I have spark, fuel, and air but it still won’t run. I think it possibly has too much fuel because the spark plugs were covered in gas. It previously ran on starting fluid. I changed the gas in it and circulated it too.
