Hey Scotty I have a question about my 2020 Dodge Challenger V6 with 897 miles. Every time I turn on the air conditioner it has this weird metal smelly smell I been thinking of taking it to the dealer but first I wanted your advice. Thanks
@yaser is giving you good advice there. Sometimes you just have to blow out all the coating fumes from the air ducts. If you do that for a week or so and still have an issue, then take it to the dealer. But the odds are it will clear itself up.
Often they put strange coatings and AC system and they will often give out odor for quite some time but good luck because smells they're pretty hard to decipher when they're coming from inside the dash there's no smell of fishing machine to tell you what it is
Drive the car on highway while the AC is on full blast and roll down the windows. it may help burn out all the coating chemicals and eliminate their smell.
