Just bought a 07 focus has 115k miles
Just spent almost $800 getting it legal
Now I think the trans fluid is bad. Smells weird af. But doesn't slip.
I see a sticker on the hood saying changed at 38k miles.
So I'm pretty sure I can atleast manage to change the trans fluid and filter myself.
What kind of fluid is usually recommended for these ford's? This is my first one.

Well if it's just okay I'd leave it alone because if you change it now with this late date it may start to slip and have problems if you do change the fluid

77,000 miles isn't ideal , but no it's not horrible.
