Scotty, I recently watched your video on changing transmission fluid, I was always told not to and I haven’t I’m the second owner of a 2014 Honda CR-V and to my knowledge it hasn’t been changed we bought the car with 88k miles should I change it being that it now has 110k miles. 2014 Honda CR-V automatic transmission.

It depends on the conditions of the fluid. Check the FAQ on this forum for more information:

I would change the fluid and filter now to know where I stand, then, every 30-50k miles after that.

You were told wrong, unfortunately.

Failing to maintain the transmission will lead to failure, just like any other car component.

If you do change it, don’t forget to use only the OEM Honda DW-1 ATF.
