My 2012 Dodge Journey SXT AWD 3.6L every now and then will trip the engine light and it will go into "limp mode" with the code P06DD "Engine Oil Pressure Control Circuit Stuck Off". The first oil change I did on it, though I was very careful, that little black plastic filter bypass piece in the filter housing did break and fall down in but I'm pretty sure I got it all out. I know that the oil pressure sensor requires taking the intake off which I'm hoping is not the problem. What are your thoughts? Thanks for your time.

You want to fix it you probably have to take the intake off that's how those things break and clean and
Thank you Scotty. It seems like the end of your response got cut off. What would you say is the likely problem? From what I've read, another possible culprit is the oil pump.
