This is about my 2014 Hyundai Accent Hatchback(automatic) with 82,245 miles. The Check Engine light recently came on.
Upon using a scan tool(BlueDriver), it found the following codes: P0441, B1493, C1503
The P0441 is the main code which tripped the light. The main fix recommended for this is replacing the vapor canister purge solenoid. Wanted to confirm if this is correct. Also wanted to confirm if this requires dropping the gas tank.
For B1493, the recommended fix is replacing the occupant detection sensor. However, I have removed the front seats from my car on two separate occasions. It's possible one of the wire harness connections was left loose, so I will check that as well.
For C1503, it reports a "TCS/ESC (ESP) Switch Error". I showed this to a co-worker who is knowledgeable about cars, and he said this could turn into something serious later on if it's not fixed. I'm not sure what part needs to be repaired/replaced for this one.
Well all those things are true but if the car runs okay personally I would just leave it alone Korean cars are not that well made and they generally start falling apart at the age of yours and if it runs okay who really cares I have many customers driving with lights on all the time but they don't care cuz they live in Tennessee and they don't inspect the cars and they run good otherwise
