Chevrolet Impala LTZ 2006 3.9L - I have had this car since 12/2006 and its over 200k miles. I am looking at an oil leak and fear that what I heard might be the issue when the transmission was replaced there is an oil location (possibly whats causing the leak) that should of been done at the time of the transmission work but I know it wasn't. The cost of part is dirt cheap, but the labor scares me. The car runs great, I have dealt with the oil issue since 2013 and the car otherwise purrs and moves great. Should I consider getting this work done Monday at possibly 1000-1400 repair bill or cut my losses? What's your opinion on this car?

I would cut my losses. At 200k, it has been living on borrowed time for a while now.
