I just purchased a chevy cobalt and its driving fine. I was wanting to do some preventative maintenance to the vehicle. I am thinking of doing spark plugs coils and fuel filter. I already did engine oil and wiper fluid changes. I might drain and fill the coolant even though it looks clean. What company makes the best spark plugs for the money? I am not looking for the most expensive for my vehicle and I am not trying to get performance spark plugs just the basic spark plugs not to cheap but not to expensive. I also am pricing fuel filters. What brand of fuel filter is the best for the money?

Preventive maintenance is always good. As for brands there are all average unless looking into performance. For chevy or GM models out should stick with your recommended. Be sure to properly gap the plugs though as it is in good practice to though may not make a huge difference. NGK is what I trust but if I want cheaper then ACdelco is fine for plugs. The brand to avoid is e3. For fuel filter same deal. Whatever is recommended is probably for the best. Duralast is fine. If you feeling fancy K&N LOL
